Prince William Will Participate in UN Climate Conference in Brazil

Prince William plans to participate in the COP30 climate summit in Brazil during November, according to palace sources.

Prince William and King Charles appeared together on Thursday night at a event preceding the environmental conference, which is set to be held in the northern Brazilian city of Belém.

Father and son were present at the museum gathering, marking an rare public appearance together at a climate summit preparatory event arranged together with the United Kingdom administration.

Climate Leadership Commitment

The King has been a longstanding advocate of biodiversity preservation - and Prince William has inherited the mission, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be taking place in South America before the UN meeting.

Official representatives have characterized the Prince's participation at the upcoming climate summit as taking on an crucial position in "global climate discussions".
